Ben turned his short story and freelance writing talents to the topics of taste after a successful twenty-five year history as an entrepreneur. As a Web 1.0 pioneer with a passion for wine and food, Ben represents the best of wine and web.

Ben focuses on living and reporting on the life of a modern day Renaissance Man. His quest to learn more about topics of culinary and oenological specialties and ways to combine them push him constantly to find the new, the unexplored, and always, the best.

Ben’s freelance writings have appeared as covers in both the food and wine sections of the San Francisco Chronicle and as stories in Wine Enthusiast, Health, Patterson’s Tasting Panel and other magazines.
